·Painted Garden·

This tutorial was written for those
that have a working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies Needed:
PSP X (any version will work)
Animation Shop
Tube of choice
I used artwork by Suzanne Woolcott.
If you would like to use her artwork
please visit
AMI

Font of choice, I used comic sans
Scrapkit of choice, or the one I used a free kit, Gina Jane Seeds of Kindess from
Daisie Company

A lil tip for you, when you want to resize scrapkits (which are reallllly huge for us taggers lol)
I use a picture resizer, the one i use is free but is for windows xp.
All you have to do is open your unzipped scrapkit folder, right click and resize it.
For this tutorial, I resized all of the kit, to medium. (600 x 600 for the papers)
I will resize more from there.

Open all of your supplies in PSP
New Imagew 600 X 600 white background.
Copy & Paste your breezy sky background as a new layer.
Image, flip. Image, mirror.
Copy & Paste your garden scene background as a new layer.
Move to the bottom of your tag, so the clouds kind of line up lol.
On your layer palette, right click and merge this layer down.
Go to layers, new mask layer~from image. Find WSL_Mask3 - OK.

I didnt add a drop shadow to anything on my tag,
except the insect at the end, but the choice is yours.
Most of these I resized by at least 50% in PSP.

Copy & Paste your bench as a new layer, position it where you want it.
Copy & Paste your topiary tree as a new layer, position that as well where you want it to go.
Copy & Paste your tube as a new layer, position it.

Now time to decorate your garden.
Copy & Paste all of your accents (all of the ones I used are from the kit).

Once your all done decorating,
add your copyright info, watermark, name
( I thought the flower pot was a good spot for my name lol).
Merge all flatten.
Resize if you want, I resized mine (all layers) 85%.

If you dont want to animate it, save as png and your done.
If you do want to animate it, its really easy lol

Copy & Paste your insect of choice as a new layer.
Resize so it looks proportioned to your tag ( we dont want a 4 inch lady bug lol)
Add a small drop shadow, I used V&H 1, Opacity 35, Blur 2, Color Black.

Its up to you, but I did 5 frames with the insect, so it was in 5 different positions.
You can also rotate your insect to it is in different positions, see my second example)

Position it where you want it to be the first frame.
On your layer palette, merge all flatten.
Copy & right click - paste into animation shop as a new image.

Back to PSP, Edit, undo merge all.
Move your insect to a new place now.
(remember we want it to look like it is flying,
so I suggest not moving it to the exect oposite of your tag yet lol)

~~If you want to rotate it, go to image, free rotate- left or right, and choose an amount. I used 15.
then go to adjust, sharpen. This is so that your insect wont be all blurry from rotating it.
Merge all flatten.
Copy & Over to animation shop,
Click on your last frame to make it active, paste after current image.

Back to PSP again, Edit, undo merge all.
Move your insect to another new place.
Again, we want to merge all flatten.
Copy & Over to animation shop,
Click on your last frame to make it active, paste after current image.

Repeat this for your remaining frames.
Once your done with your insect, go back to PSP
Edit, Undo merge all.
Delete the layer with the insect.
Copy & Paste this frame (insect free) in animation shop, after current image.

Go to edit, select all.
Go to animation, frame properties, I changed my speed to 75.
Click your view animation button, to see if you like the way it looks.
If your happy with the speed, save as gif and your done. YAY!!
Thank you for trying my tutorial
Hugs n PSP Kisses.
