This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP. Supplies Needed: PSP X (any version will work) Tube of choice I used artwork by Jessica Dougherty If you would like to use her artwork please visit CILM Animation Shop Alienskin Xenofex 2~Shatter (optional for that extra grunge effect) Scrap papers and Accents of your choice, use your imagination :o) or you can use mine "Wild Child" Here Grunge masks of choice or I used Image 3-1 and 2-1 from this AWESOME blog Denomic Ice Queen Font of choice Frame & Other Supplies here There are ALOT of layers in this tut, so if your a beginner dont be intimidated, I will do my best to make it simple for you :o) Lets Begin :-) Go to your view tab, on the top of your psp, Palettes, make sure that, layers~materials & tool options are selected. New Image~white background 595 X 420 (wierd I know but thats the size that worked for me lol) Open up your paper you want to use as a back ground, (I used my dark plaid pattern) Edit copy over to your white backroud, edit, paste as a new layer. Layers ~ Duplicate. Layers, new mask layer,from image- find your first mask (if you are using the same ones I used, then use image 3-1 first) Go to layers, merge, merge group. Now click on your second paper layer, and do the same thing but with your second mask (2-1) Move this layer down a bit.... so they are even top to bottom Layers, merge, merge down. (If you are NOT doing the shatter effect, then just skip over this lol) Layers, duplicate. Resize 75% (make sure all layers is unchecked) Effects, Plugin~Find your Alien Xenofex~Shatter. I left the settings as they where, except I changed the speed, til I liked how it looked. OK Now click on the first masked layer we made, change the opacity from 0 to 60 ish. Click on the shattered layer again. (because anything we add, we want it to go ontop of this layer) Copy & Paste your frame as a new layer (if your using your own resize as needed or one from my kit, then resize it 85%) Now...... where it landed is perfect so we dont want to move it lol we just want it as a guideline. Now you can Copy & Paste your accents (flowers & leaves etc) that you want to go behind your frame, for now we are going to build it on top of the frame. For each one you add, add a drop shadow, I used V 2 & H 4 Opacity 69, Blur 6, Color Black NOW..... once your done all of that go to your layer palette click on your frame layer and drag it up, so that it is the top layer. Using your magic wand click inside the frames Go to selections, modify, expand 4 (if using the one from my supplies expand 20) Selections, Invert Copy & Paste as a new layer the same paper you used originally for the background Delete. Now Copy & Paste your tubes inside the frames as new layers and delete. Selections, select None. Click on your tube layer, and lower the opacity to your liking. Again, we want the frame on top, so drag it up lol Add a drop shadow. Now you can add your tube and other accents. Dont forget your dropshadows! Once your done all of that fun stuff, Now its time to add your Name, watermark and copyright info. Go to layers, merge all flatten. IF you dont want to animate it, save it as .jpg and Yay your done!!! If you DO want to animate it, go to edit, copy..... over to animation shop. Paste as a new image. Go to edit, duplicate. Duplicate again. Until you have 9 frames. Now open your animated kisses. Edit select all, Edit - Paste into selected frame. Using your tool, paste your kiss where you want it on the left frame. Now, we want these kisses on the right frame too, sooo Click on your kisses again Go to animation, mirror. Edit, paste into selected frame (place on your right frame) Almost done lol Go back to PSP and copy your tag again....... Over to animation shop, click on the first frame of your tag. Edit & Paste before selected frame. Edit Select all, Animation, frame properties. I changed mine to 45, but you choose what you like. (you can click on the view animation button in the top righthand corner to view) Save as .gif and YAYYYYYYYY your finally done lol I hope you enjoyed this tut, Thank You for trying it!
